Jac Schaeffer just wants to keep everyone she loves, especially her husband Ben and their teen daughters, safe and happy. So she hasn’t mentioned to Ben that the Evangelical faith upon which they built their marriage has slipped away from her. Then Ben’s father, Lee, takes the helm of their San Antonio megachurch just as Jac’s own father’s illness brings her outspoken  twin sister, Robin, back to town.

When Robin storms out of church during Lee’s incendiary sermon, the ensuing argument brings Jac’s doubts to light, leaving Ben questioning their marriage. Then scandal erupts and Ben leaps to his dad’s defense. Every instinct tells Jac to go back to pretending so she can salvage her frayed marriage. But she learns the truth about the youth pastor, the teenage girls, and Lee’s cover up. Before another girl is hurt, Jac must find the courage to speak out, even if it costs her the family she treasures.
